General Information
Join us for our 47th annual JS Legacy Cup Memorial Day Tournament at Rogers Field in Devens, MA! All games are played on grass fields at one site — Only park once! This event features over 190 teams every year and has been a Memorial Day staple in the New England region for nearly half a century.
Discounts available for clubs that bring multiple teams. Please email Tournament Director for further details.
Overview & Format
All teams will play a minimum of 3 games guaranteed.
7v7 Teams: Games are 40-mins. long. One day round robin. Boys will play on Saturday. Girls will play on Monday. **Depending on the number of boys teams, some brackets may have to play on Monday.**
Cost: $845/team
9v9 Teams: Games are 60-mins. long. Girls will play Saturday/Sunday. Boys will play Sunday/Monday.
Cost: $995/team
11v11 Teams: Games are 70-mins. long. Girls will play Saturday/Sunday. Boys will play Sunday/Monday. Showcase style format for U15-U18 age groups.
U13-U14 Cost: $1,025/team
U15-U18 Cost: $1,095/team

Pre-Event
Pre-Event registration (paperwork submission) is due by Friday, May 8. All documents (proof of age) must be uploaded to each team’s GotSport account. Players must be allocated to the event in Got Sport.
GotSport Online Check-In Instructions
Tournament medical waivers are not required, although all teams should have their own club waivers on site in case of an emergency.

All fields are located on Rogers Field, 100 Sherman Ave, Devens, MA.
Fields 1-7 and 21 (this will still be on Rogers Field) are 11v11
Fields 8-14 are 9v9
Fields 15-20 are 7v7
Tournament HQ is located in the brick pavilion in between Field 7 and Parking Lot G.

Steel Sports/Steel United operates a Stay to Play Policy for its tournaments, and EventConnect is the official housing provider. For your convenience:
- EventConnect sources a selection of hotel brand accommodations for attending teams available via the tournament booking site.
- The partner hotels contract that the Special Event Rates are the lowest available rates.
- The technology allows team leaders to set aside a block of rooms for the group and give athlete families time to complete reservations.
- A Steel Sports event hotel dashboard is live to assist group leaders and athlete families with hotel-related logistics.
All group and individual reservations connected with the tournament must be placed exclusively through EventConnect to ensure the hotel allocations pick up. If you seek an exemption from the Stay to Play Policy, an official exemption request form MUST be completed and available on the dashboard. Social Impact
For the 5th year in a row, we will be supporting Red Card Cancer over the tournament weekend.
Every year at the JS Legacy Cup, we come together to raise funds for Red Card Cancer and, in turn, the American Cancer Society. Last year, our Steel United MA family has been deeply affected by the loss of our beloved Teams Director, Sean Collins.
To honor Sean’s memory, we are again dedicating this year’s fundraising efforts to him. We hope you’ll join us in remembering Sean by contributing whatever you can. Every donation makes a difference in the fight against cancer and helps us keep Sean’s spirit alive through meaningful action.
